ChristChurch Presbyterian
September 26th 9am
Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and more than 5 million Americans are now living with the disease.
This year, ChristChurch is hosting a Walk to End Alzheimer's to raise funds to assist in the ongoing work of the Alzheimer's Association on Saturday, September 26th. We will meet in the parking lot of the Rec Place that morning and begin our walk at 9 am.
If you'd like to help support the Alzheimer's Association but can't participate in the walk, you can help support our team with a sponsorship. While there is no fee to register to walk, all participants are encouraged to raise funds that will advance the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association by enabling critical care and support services and advancing research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

Jeanie Christian, wife of Rev. Matt Christian, is our team captain and has been spearheading this project.
She is also involved in an Alzheimer's Support Group which is continuing to meet remotely online and via phone during this time. If you would like more information about the support group or would like to join in on the next meeting, email Jeanie at jeanieamy1@hotmail.com for the meeting information.
