under the oak: ccp youth

Our Vision: We are a dynamic and diverse group of youth and adults, all children of God, who exist to know Christ.

Our Mission: We find Christ through sharing our faith, serving others, and living lives that demonstrate God's love.

We call our gatherings 'Under the Oak' because it's a place where we can all come to help each other 'bury' the extra junk that weighs us down in life so we can focus more on Christ.

Jacob said to his family and to everyone else who was traveling with him: "Get rid of your foreign gods! Then make yourselves acceptable to worship God and put on clean clothes. Afterwards, we’ll go to Bethel. I will build an altar there for God, who answered my prayers when I was in trouble and who has always been at my side." So everyone gave Jacob their idols and their earrings, and he buried them under the oak tree near Shechem.
