    Senior Pastor

    Pastor Eric grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and started following Jesus Christ in high school. He is married to Maxine and is the proud father of Daniel, Molly, and Riley. He has served churches in California, N. Ireland, North Carolina, Illinois, and Georgia.


    Associate Pastor

    Pastor Matt grew up outside Columbia, South Carolina and has been following Christ since Junior High School. He is married to Jeanie and has been blessed with his son Riley and daughter Karen. Matt has served in churches in South Carolina, Missouri, and most recently in Atlanta in various capacities and is thrilled to call Dalton home.


    Director of Music Ministries

    Wayne is the Director of Music Ministries. He graduated from Samford University and is married to Bettye Jo. He has 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and enjoys woodworking, the outdoors, and proclaiming Jesus through music.


    Assitant Director of Music Ministries

    Mayowa recently graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Music in Music and Worship with honors in May of 2019. He hopes to further his studies into a Masters program then Doctorate program. Mayowa assists in selecting hymns and anthems for our Sunday services and also helps lead children's choir.



    Rebecca (Becky), has been playing the organ at ChristChurch for over 7 years and is a native of Evansville, IN, resides in Chattanooga, TN where she taught school until retiring after 30 years of service. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Evansville. 



    Susan Hill graduated from the University of Georgia and West Georgia College and was a teacher for 34 years. She began playing piano at age 14 and has served as pianist at CCP since 2014. She and her husband, John, have two children and five grandchildren. She is grateful for every opportunity to share God’s love through music,whether accompanying a worship service or children’s choir, or worshiping at home, with an audience of one.


    Director of Youth Ministries

    Ryan Cobb joined the ChristChurch staff in 2006, and has served as Director of Youth Ministries since 2007. He holds a B.A. in Youth Ministry/Bible & Religion from King College in Bristol, TN. A native of Durham, NC, Ryan is married to Rachel and has two daughters, Lilly and Hannah. 


    Director of Children & Family Ministries

    Elizabeth Nickles joined our staff in August of 2012. She graduated from Presbyterian College with a B.A. in Religion and Christian Education with a focus in Family Ministry. She grew up in Greenville, SC where her family still lives.

    She enjoys volunteering in Dalton elementary schools, teaching bible studies, and family game nights.  


    Office Administrator

    Kristi Thomas is a native of Dalton, Georgia. She graduated from Dalton State College with a B.B.A. in Marketing in 2013 and has been working at ChristChurch in the roll of Administrative Assistant/Communications since 2016. 


    Administrative Associate/ Communications

    Taylor joined the ChristChurch staff in August of 2018. She attended the University of West Georgia before returning to Dalton State College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History in the Spring of 2019. She enjoys working creatively to help the many ministries here at ChristChurch Presbyterian.

    Mary Hayes and her husband reside in Dalton, GA and have 6 adult children and 5 grandchildren. From 2001 to 2014, Mary and her husband lived and worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where she discovered her passion for teaching. She has worked as a Lead Kindergarten teacher at the American International School of Jeddah where she served on several committees dealing with common core before returning to the states where she now serves as ChristSchool Co-Director.



    Angie Lewallen and her husband, Randy, reside in Dalton, Georgia and have three children. She has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Berry College. After graduating, she served as an Institutional Research Assistant at Berry for three years before starting a family. She joined ChristSchool in 2014 as a Pre-K teacher and taught in the two-year-old classroom for five years. She is honored to be named as Interim Co-Director and enjoys serving the families at ChristSchool.

    Kent is a native of Dalton, GA. He became the Director of the Rec Place in 2019 after serving for several years as the Assistant Director. Kent also manages Common Ground Coffee Shop. Kent is married to Rachel and they are expecting their first child in 2019.

    Alejandro Coronel has lived in Dalton, Georgia for 10 years. He attended Dalton State College and received a degree in Computer Netowrking. He has been employed at ChristChurch since the spring of 2018.

    Rapha House Staff

    Aaron holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University. A focus of Aaron’s work is relationship counseling and he can help with difficulties that exist in marriage, parent-child dynamics, or other personal relationships.

    Lillian Barnwell is a Dalton native. She joined the Rapha House Counseling Center in 2017. Lillian is a licensed professional counselor, has a national certification in Master Addiction Counselor, and is a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor. She received her masters in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

    Sherry Dickson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and individuals on a wide variety of issues.

    Phyllis is a longtime ChristChurch member. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered/Licensed Dietitian. Phyllis is the Director of The Rapha House Counseling Ministry and works with individuals, couples and families to find emotional and spiritual healing.

    Stefanie has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families working to guide them through the many challenges of life at home, school and with friends. She has years of experience as a licensed Professional School Counselor and have a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, an M.S. in School Counseling from Lee University, and an Ed. S. degree through Piedmont College. She's a member of the ASCA and the Licensed Professional Counseling Association of Georgia. 


    Rapha House Staff

    Janet works with clients impacted by depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, postpartum issues, marital and parenting challenges, relationship concerns and family issues. She's a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in TN and Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in GA. She has a bachelor of arts degree from Furman University and a Master of Arts degree from Richmont Graduate University, and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. 


    Rapha House Staff

    Ana has MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN. She has been with The Rapha House for over a year and beginning as intern. Now Ana is doing her post-graduate work here as well. Ana grew up in Tucson, AZ and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Arizona. Ana offers counseling services in English and Spanish.


    Counseling Intern

    Drew is currently enrolled in a graduate program through the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA). Drew is a native of Dalton. He graduated from Kennesaw State with a bachelor's degree in education and has several years of experience in the public school system. He also coaches middle school football.
